Mirador 1000, also known as Mirador South, is one of two bayfront condominium buildings in South Beach of which the development called Mirador South Beach is comprised. The tower rises 17 stories offering views of the bay, city, and ocean. Built in 1968 originally as an apartment development, Mirador 1000 was converted to condominiums in 2005. The units at Mirador 1000 feature hurricane impact-resistant windows and stacked sliding glass balcony doors. It should be noted, however, the units at Mirador 1000 do NOT include an in-unit washer and dryer. The building has community laundry rooms. Additionally, most units at Mirador 1000 do NOT include assigned parking. Most residents of Mirador 1000 valet park their vehicles. Mirador 1000 has 457 condo residences comprised of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans ranging in size from 543 to 3,577 interior square feet.
