The Weintraub Astronomical Observatory opens on the first Friday of each month from 8:30pm to 10pm weather permitting.
How to get there
The Museum is located north of Coconut Grove across the street from Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. From the north, take I-95 to the #1A/SW 25 Road descent. Keep right and follow the signs until you reach the Museum/Planetarium. From the south, take U.S. 1 and turn right just before the I-95 climb. From the Metrorail, get off at Vizcaya Station and use the pedestrian overpass to cross U.S. 1.
