f. EB-2. Professionals with advanced degrees.
g. EB-3. Specialized professionals, or with a minimum of two years of experience.
h. EB-4. Special immigrants such as religious workers, current and former government employees living abroad.
i. H-1C2 Visa: Nurses
j. Visa I: foreign journalists.
k. Visa O 1: the visa of geniuses in any area.
3. Investors: it is granted to people who are going to make investments of at least one million eight hundred thousand dollars (1.8 M $USD). There are several types, one of them is the E-2 Treaty Investor Visa or the EB-5 for entrepreneurs.
4. Refugees or asylees: the candidate must have been a victim of persecution based on race, religion, nationality, political opinion and/or affiliation to a particular group. The verification of requirements is indispensable because the case can end up before a judge. Medical and safety requirements must also be met.
5. Visa lottery: Visas are given away to countries that historically have low levels of immigration. For Latin America and the Caribbean, the selected countries are Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Cuba, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Belize, Dominica and Guyana.
