The megaproject will begin construction in the second week of October. One-bedroom units are priced at $300,000

Investments in Miami: Metropica has already exceeded 40% of sales with 10% of Argentine buyers

The megaproject that grows in the north of Miami, developed by KGH International and whose CEO is Joseph Kavana, has already exceeded 40% of the sales of the Yoo Tower, which will begin construction in the second week of October.

Of this total, 10% of the units were acquired by Argentines, who are increasingly looking for properties in that destination.

Fernando de Nuñez, representative of One Sotheby’s, the company that sells Metropica, was present in Buenos Aires recently and commented on the growth of interest of the United States and Latin American public in the North Miami area.

“The Argentine is an investor buyer and wants to make sure he is going to rent the unit. It’s going to deliver one tower at a time so there’s not going to be an oversupply. We are touching the 100 units of sale or practically 45% which is very favorable because we touched the summer months. The conversion of reserves into definitive contracts indicates the solvency and evolution of the project, which is being very positive,” said De Nuñez.

This area is considered one of the points of greatest real estate, business and recreational development. There, in Sunrise, Florida , Metropica will be developed, a mixed-use development with more than 2,250 residential units, 65,000 m2 of offices, approximately 40,000 m2 of premises, 240 hotel rooms, 3500 garages, restaurants and shops. The entire design is organized around a central park created to enhance tropical vegetation.

The work has a privileged location next to the Sawgrass Mill shopping center , 10 minutes from major universities such as Novo University, Browrd College and Florida Atlantic, 20 minutes from Fort Lauderdale and 12 minutes from the airport.

In front of the enterprise, the new American Express campus is being installed, in which 6,000 people will work. “There are a lot of people who work in that area – Kavana commented – from 25 to 30 years old who earn between 50,000 and 150,000 dollars that will cover their demand with Metropica “.

Interior and common area design is by Yoo Design Group in London and architecture is by Chad Oppenheim Architecture. The amenities include: tennis courts, club racket, mini soccer court and another basketball court and Wi Fi throughout the central park. Kavana points out that Metropica also has a beach club: a pool of almost 250 meters long that faces west, that is, to the Everglades which ensures unique sunsets.

The 7th floor of the building is exclusively reserved for amenities: gym, multipurpose room and a guest suite, cinema and kids club. There will also be an outdoor yoga and massage salon, a dog care and cleaning center, bicycle storage and maintenance, and Starbucks coffee service.

“For its quality the price is very attractive compared to other products of its level – explained de Nuñez – There are one-bedroom apartments of $ 300,000 versus those of a bedroom in Brickell that are from 480 to 650 thousand dollars. That allows Metropica to be attractive to family and young people.”
